College Application Month – Parents

October is College Application Month (CAM), as proclaimed by Governor Brian Sandoval.  High schools all around the state of Nevada are hosting events for students to complete a college application to the school of their choosing. These events will occur during the school day although in larger schools, there may be additional events at other times.  Find out more by asking your student when CAM will occur in their school.

Nevada began participating in this campaign in 2013. Now the campaign is a statewide effort. Please check with your child’s school to see when the event(s) will be held and what information is needed. If your child attends a high school in Clark County, they can also register for an Apply Nevada! Event. Please visit the website apply.nevada.edu for more information and a registration link.
